About Nuttall Parker | James Douglas

Douglas is the Managing Director of The Seraph Group, which includes James Douglas Sales and Lettings, Seraph Property Management, Clockwork Maintenance and Construction and more recently Nuttall Parker. Nuttall Parker joined the group in 2020. Douglas is the Director for Wales for the National Residential Landlords Association and is also a Chartered Member of RICS (MRICS). Douglas has Scottish roots, raised in England, but calls South Wales his home. He is a leading representative in the property industry, lobbying in government, in particular on the regulation in the PRS, as well as looking at private and institutional investment across all tenures and is also regularly asked for comment and quoted in the news and current affairs programmes and articles.

Bernie is our Head of Sales, having worked in the property industry for over 16 years, Bernie has worked in most areas of the sector including property management, corporate, lettings as well as sales. Whilst Bernie comes with heaps of experience, she is also fully qualified via both ARLA/Propertymark as well as Rent Smart Wales. Bernie covers both Nuttall Parker and James Douglas Sales teams, she ensures high quality property listings at their most achievable price. 

If she’s not travelling between our branches, she’s travelling to other countries and cities as she loves to explore and travel as much as possible! She also enjoys walking her Cockapoo ‘Pickle’, gardening and spending time with family.

Tony is our Sales Negotiator and has joined Nuttall Parker in 2015 after a successful career in the printing and advertising industry. Tony is always out and about busy accompanying viewings and liaising with vendors and buyers. He is constantly enthusiastic and his focus on customer service has developed excellent relationships with clients. On weekends off Tony can be found on one of the mountain bike trails in South Wales.

Dave is our Sales Valuer and Lister, who joined Nuttall Parker in 2020, in the midst of a pandemic! Despite this, Dave’s drive and ambition for sales translates perfectly to our clients, when he visits properties for valuations and take-ons. He prepares all the floor-plans and professional photography so our properties are portrayed in the best possible light. Dave’s background is a mixture of corporate, independent, sales and lettings and is a key player in the team.

Susannah is our dedicated Sales Progressor, she prides herself on customer service and helps our sellers and buyers as a sale progresses, Susannah will work tirelessly to ensure a sale reaches completion.  She handles a wide range of enquiries, dealing with any leads and client/customer queries. Susannah is also managing social media for the branch and is our very own in-house content creator! In her spare time, Susannah enjoys going to the gym, taking trips away, and looking after her British Blue Hair kitten, Luna.

Charmaine joins the Nuttall Parker team as a part-time Sales Administrator, wanting to get back into a career following raising two children. Whilst this is her first role in the property sector, Charmaine demonstrates many transferable skills especially from her time as a Troubleshooting manager for a national high street jewellers. Charmaine also has personal experience of the property industry as she is a buy-to-let developer, where she and her husband purchase dilapidated properties and complete full refurbishments which they then rent out to tenants. This has certainly given Charmaine an empathetic understanding towards our clients when going through the purchase and selling of a home. Charmaine’s part time role allows her to spend quality time with her two young children and take them on a number of activities in an effort to tire them out! She also has a soft spot for Devon so any opportunity to visit and they’re off! What you probably didn’t know about Charamine is that she lives on a farm, fully embracing rural life. She is also a qualified beauty therapist!
