Meet The Team

Douglas Haig

Managing Director

Douglas is the Managing Director of The Seraph Group, which includes James Douglas Sales and Lettings, Seraph Property Management, Clockwork Maintenance and Construction and more recently Nuttall Parker. Nuttall Parker joined the group in 2020. Douglas is the Director for Wales for the National Residential Landlords Association and is also a Chartered Member of RICS (MRICS). Douglas has Scottish roots, raised in England, but calls South Wales his home. He is a leading representative in the property industry, lobbying in government, in particular on the regulation in the PRS, as well as looking at private and institutional investment across all tenures and is also regularly asked for comment and quoted in the news and current affairs programmes and articles.

Lesley Woodsford-Lloyd

Associate Partner

Lesley joined Nuttall Parker in 2001. She started her career in 1987 and has worked for both corporate and independent estate agents in Newport, accumulating years of experience in the local residential housing market. Lesley is responsible for the day to day management of our residential sales, liaising with our clients, their purchasers and solicitors to ensure that what can be a complicated process runs as smoothly as possible. Lesley also has a close working relationship with New Build Developers assisting them with part-exchange properties. Her experience also allows her to support in the valuation and marketing of properties. Lesley enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and has recently taken part in the iNVNCBL 10k challenge to raise money for local charities and enjoys taking part in weekly spin and Kangaroo Jump classes.

Leigh Edwards

Consultant

Whilst Leigh has taken a step back, he remains as a consultant to the business and has been invaluable over the years. Leigh is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and joined Nuttall Parker in 1992 after completing an Honours Degree in Estate Management at Portsmouth University. Leigh specialises and represents a number of new-build developers and investors in the South Wales area.

Tony Alonzi

Tony joined Nuttall Parker in 2015 after a successful career in the printing and advertising industry. Tony is always out and about busy accompanying viewings and liaising with vendors and buyers. He is constantly enthusiastic and his focus on customer service has developed excellent relationships with clients. On weekends off Tony can be found on one of the mountain bike trails in South Wales.

David Ramsay

Dave is our Sales Valuer and Lister, who joined Nuttall Parker in 2020, in the midst of a pandemic! Despite this, Dave’s drive and ambition for sales translates perfectly to our clients, when he visits properties for valuations and take-ons. He prepares all the floor-plans and professional photography so our properties are portrayed in the best possible light. Dave’s background is a mixture of corporate, independent, sales and lettings and is a key player in the team.

Julie Thomas

Julie is our part-time receptionist and has worked in the industry for over 35 years so is a great asset to the team. She is also a great cook and always provides lunch for the weekend workers!

Claire Reeve

Claire is our part-time Receptionist/Typist and was working in the travel business before joining the team a couple of years ago, she has an amazing customer service talent and is always smiling and is enjoying selling houses rather than holidays.
